Help with household records.
HomeOwed helps organize household helper profiles, work, expenses, adjustments, payments, balances, and activity.
Getting started
On the Home tab, tap Add Helper and enter a name, role, compensation type, and default rate. Open the helper from People to log work, add an expense or adjustment, or record a payment.
Balances and activity
HomeOwed shows recorded balances and a history of ledger activity. Review and update entries when your records change. The app organizes information you enter; it does not verify the underlying work or payment.
HomeOwed Pro
The free tier supports one active helper. HomeOwed Pro Lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited active helpers, CSV ledger export, summary totals, and a 30-day activity filter. Open Settings → HomeOwed Pro to upgrade or select Restore Purchases. Purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit; the Apple account used for the original purchase is needed for Apple’s restore process.
App Lock
Optional App Lock is in Settings → Security. It uses Apple device-owner authentication. If authentication is unavailable, check that device authentication is configured and available in iOS Settings, then try again. HomeOwed does not receive biometric data.
Local data
HomeOwed stores its records locally on your device. No account is required. When iCloud is available, HomeOwed attempts to synchronize a versioned snapshot with the private CloudKit database for your Apple Account. For a separate portable copy, use Settings → Data Protection to export or restore a JSON backup; CloudKit sync is not a complete backup or guaranteed recovery. Keep any separate copy you need; deleting the app may remove its local data.
